"The NQTA" and "NQ TOUCH" refer to the NORTH QUEENSLAND TOUCH ASSOCIATION, INC.
The NQTA may revise the Terms from time-to-time. Revised Terms will apply to the use of the Site from the date of their publication on the Site. Be sure to check this page periodically for updates, as your continued use of the Site and/or participation in any program signifies your acceptance of any changes to the Terms. Information is collected about you when you use and/or contact us through the Site, including without limitation information you provide on applications, registration pages and other online forms, surveys, through emails you send and through other submissions through the Site. Additionally, information is collected when you participate in certain programs available on or through the Site.
Information Collection and Use
The information collected via the Site may be combined with other information collected about you and may be used and disclosed in a number of ways by The NQTA to help The NQTA better understand and serve you, including without limitation, as described below.
To provide you with, or otherwise respond to your requests for, information and/or services.
To verify your participation in an The NQTA program, and to track submissions.
Record and collect information about how you and others use the Site, including, but not limited to, your domain name, language, type of browser and operating system, Internet Service Provider, Internet protocol (IP) address, the website from which you arrived at the Site, and the amount of time spent on the Site.
To review submissions for the selection of viable business entities to potentially enter into agreements with The NQTA.
The NQTA will monitor and use Usage Data to measure the Site’s performance and activity and improve the Site’s design and functionality.
Any online Application Form will collect your name, address, email address, other contact information, and business information and qualifications that you must enter on the form. By submitting this information, you agree that The NQTA may retain and use the information to respond to your inquiry. You represent and warrant that the information submitted via the Site is true, accurate, current, non-misleading, complete, non-confidential and consistent and relevant for the purpose for which such information is provided. You agree that if any information provided by you is false, inaccurate, obsolete or incomplete, The NQTA may terminate your use of the Site and withdraw your consideration into activities undetaken and supplied by The NQTA.
The NQTA operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protected systems, and maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard the integrity and privacy of these servers and of your personal information. Although we can’t guarantee that there will never be a security problem, we and our suppliers that have access to your information take commercially reasonable steps to guard against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information we collect on the Site.
As with many state-of-the-art Sites, The NQTA may use “cookies” to, among other things, enhance the functionality of the Site and to make transactions and other activities through the Site more convenient and efficient for users. A “cookie” is a file stored locally on a user’s computer. Most Internet browsers include preference settings that allow users to be notified and control whether cookies are transferred to their computers.

The NQTA may make information concerning the Site, and the uses thereof, available to law enforcement personnel and agencies when requested to do so or as required by law. The NQTA may also disclose such information upon a good faith belief that it is required to do so, in order to protect property or persons or in furtherance to an investigation regarding a breach of the Site’s policies. The NQTA will also disclose your submission(s) and provided content when it has reason to believe that disclosing submissions and/or content you provided is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (whether intentionally or unintentionally) others rights or property.
The NQTA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, at any time and from time to time, temporarily or permanently, in whole or in part, to: modify or discontinue the Site with or without notice; limit the Site’s availability to any person, geographic area or jurisdiction; modify and/or waive any fees charged in connection with the Site; and/or offer opportunities to some or all users of the Site. You agree that The NQTA nor any affiliated entity, subsidiary or person shall be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Site, in whole or in part, or any content, submission, feature or product offered through the Site. Your continued use of the Site after such changes will indicate acceptance of such changes.
The NQTA may provide links to third parties’ websites (“Linked Sites”). Linked Sites are not reviewed, controlled or examined by The NQTA in any way and The NQTA is not responsible for the content, privacy policies and practices of any such Linked Sites, or any additional links contained therein.
